Here at Vent Logistics, we are proud to hold a wide variety of industry accreditations and pride ourselves on giving the best service to our customers. We have held a CHAS accreditation for many years and in our latest post, we discuss exactly what this accreditation is and why it is beneficial for both businesses and consumers.
CHAS stands for The Contractors Health and Safety Assesment Scheme and serves to demonstrate to customers that a company meets all necessary health and safety standards.
The CHAS accreditation assesses multiple factors to give customers the peace of mind that the company they are working with takes health and safety seriously. These factors include:
The Health and safety policy
The organisation of health and safety
Health and safety training
Construction Phase Plan
First aid training
Fire risk assessments
Insurance details (Employers’ and Public Liability Insurance)
Whilst it is not a requirement for companies to be CHAS accredited, those that are open up the oppourtunity to work with hospitals, universities and schools, Local Authorities and other larger construction companies.
Part of the CHAS accreditation requires companies to prove that all employees have received industry related training. Certificates are often favoured by CHAS assessors, over industry experience. When working with Vent Logistics, you can be sure that all of our engineers have not only undergone rigorous training, they also have a wealth of experiences under their belts.
At Vent Logistics, we have a dedicated team that works alongside companies in both the commercial and industrial sector. If you are looking to work with a reliable ventilation company, we can help.
Our systems are bespoke to ensure that your working environment remains comfortable to be in and conforms to all legislation and guidelines.
